Making a difference
Rethink places enormous emphasis on delivering quality services and constantly strives for improvement. That’s why we created the Service Improvement Team ensuring that our standards are continuously developed.
Making it happen
- We produced a Service Improvement Toolkit to assist our services with their ongoing development.
- We developed a new regional Health and Safety auditor network across both regional and corporate teams. The auditor network has trained staff to Chartered Institute of Environmental Health Advanced Certificate level and they will receive ongoing support and training from Rethink’s external Health and Safety consultant.
- We offered additional Health and Safety management support in response to new Health and Safety legislation. Rethink commissioned and developed a new electronic risk assessment database.
Making an impact
- More Rethink staff are now trained on Health and Safety and able to carefully monitor that our services are meeting standards.
- Following the completion of a nationally recognised Health and Safety questionnaire we received organisational accreditation to the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment (CHAS) scheme. This official approval is a national benchmark of Health and Safety which many commissioners are requesting from service providers.
- We’ll pilot our Service Improvement Toolkit.
- We’ll launch the new risk assessment database, which will significantly enhance Rethink health and safety management and oversight.
